Our goal is to design a structured cabling system that is tailored to the specific needs of each client.  No two clients are alike. - Avoid the “cookie cutter” approach.

During his 27 years in the telecommunications industry, Alvin has been involved in the installation and management of a full spectrum of copper, coaxial and fiber cabling projects.  He joined CTS in January of 2021 after working for the state of NC. While employed there, he managed the structured cabling installation of projects ranging from $1,500 renovations to $150 million new construction projects.  Alvin had the pleasure of was working alongside The White House Communications Team while preparing for local visits from candidates during two presidential campaigns.  Some of the other notable projects he’s been involved in are LPGA/PGA Tournaments in Central Florida, Gerald Champion Hospital, Alamogordo, New Mexico, Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, North Carolina, Dept. of Defense Computer Forensic Lab in Columbia, Maryland, Midlands Technical College, Columbia, South Carolina, Carolinas Hospital System, Florence, South Carolina, James B. Hunt Library, NC State University, Raleigh, North Carolina and Reynolds Coliseum, NC State University, Raleigh, North Carolina

Alvin is an active member of the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), an association supporting the advancement of the information and communications technology (ICT) community.  He is a member of the BICSI Professional Development Committee and serves as vice chair of the Presentation Selection Workgroup.  Alvin holds the Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM) and Technician (TECH) BICSI certifications.

When not at work, Alvin enjoys spending time with his wife and sons.
